Tailgating and How to Prepare for the Big GameThings to Prepare Before the Big Football Game
Tailgating is something that every fan should experience. It's a way to support the team and have a great time with friends, family and fellow fans.
There are a lot of things to do for tailgaters while waiting for the big game. One game could be cornhole. This game requires a set six foot by two foot boxes with a small hole cut towards one end of the box and three bags filled with beans or some other small grain. Place each box about ten yard from the other one. It requires two teams of two people each. Members of opposite teams stand side by side behind one of the box and the teammates stand behind the other side of the box. Games to Play While TailgatingIf a bag is thrown in the hole, that's 10 points, if a bag is thrown and lands on the box, but not in the hole, that's three points s thrown. The first team that reaches 21 points wins the game. Kan Jam is another game that can be played while tailgating. Kan Jam sets can be purchased at most Wal Marts and other retail stores for around 20 dollars. The set comes with the required barrells and frisbee. Again, four people, two teams of two with teammates standing across from each other while throwing the frisbee. If the frisbee in thrown in the slot on the barrel, then it's game over. If the teammate pushes the frisbee into the top of the barrel, that's three points. If the frisbee is thrown, and touches the barrel, that's two points and it's one point when the teammate pushes the frisbee towards the can and it just hits the can. The first team to 21 points wins the game. Beer Pong Basics on How to PlayAnother game that can be played while at a tailgate party is beer pong or other drinking games like flip cup or quarters.Peer pong needs on table, about six feet in length with two teams of two people. It also requires 14 plastic cups and two pong balls. The cups stand seven on each side of the table, usually six in a triangle pattern and one cup off to the side filled with water. Teammates stand together on one side of the table. The goal is to throw the pong balls into the other team's cups. When a shot goes into a cup, a member of the other team must drink the cup. If the ball bounces on the table and makes it into a cup, two cups must be consumed. Flip Cup Game BasicsFlip cup is a similar game to beer pong, it's a better game when a lot of people are involved though. Flip cup can use as many people as available, it just has to be an even number so that sides are even. Make a long table, usually by putting several tables together. Teams stand on the same side of the table, fill the cup with a small amount of beer. Two opposing players usually start the game, usually at one end of the table. After the beer is consumed, the player must put the cup with the opening facing up, flip it until it stands with the opening facing down, then the person's teammate may repeat the task until all team members have flipped the cuts. Remember, when picking out games for tailgating, make sure they're simple enough so that every member of the tailgating party can partake in the activities. Tailgating is an important part of the game day experience and it's a great time for every one involved. Be responsible and act friendly towards everyone else in the tailgate area.
