Look for the National Football League’s Patriots, Colts, Packers, Giants and Steelers to pick up wins Sunday. Let’s break down those contests, along with the rest in Week 11 of NFL action…
First, in the wake of their big loss to the Dallas Cowboys last week, expect the Giants to wreak havoc upon Detroit Sunday. The Green Bay Packers should easily handle Carolina. Brett Favre threw for more than 300 yards again, while the Panthers’ defense continues to sputter. Expect the Saints to beat Houston behind the prowess of running back Reggie Bush. Houston's run defense is horrendous, allowing nearly 160 yards per game over their last five games.
Dallas should continue its roll facing the Redskins. Terrell Owens has registered three straight 100-plus yard games receiving. The Indianapolis Colts will definitely roll over the Chiefs in the wake of their second consecutive loss of the season. Peyton Manning – victimized by six picks last weekend – will be out for blood. Likewise the New England Patriots will have no trouble with Buffalo. Expect Tom Brady and Company to roll over the so-so Bills.
In other action, the 7-2 Steelers will take the hapless Jets; the Falcons should stun Tampa Bay in Atlanta no matter who is quarterbacking the club; the Eagles will draw to 5-5 with a victory over winless Miami; the Vikings will defeat the 2-7 Raiders; Jacksonville should handle hot-and-cold San Diego despite the Chargers’ stunner over the Colts; San Francisco will beat the 1-8 Rams at home; the Seahawks should edge the Bears; Baltimore should reduce the Browns’ record to 5-5; the Bengals will beat the Cardinals in Cincinnati, and Tennessee will reduce the Broncos to 4-6 on Monday Night Football.
